About The Vault

Built from the urgency and creative spirit of Brighton & Hove’s independent art scene, The Vault is Mid Street Lab’s newest exhibition space — a seafront home for local creativity, collectable art, and experimental practice.

This winter, we’re opening our doors for our first Artist Open House by the sea, bringing together established and emerging voices in a curated, community-powered showcase.

A vibrant, juried exhibition of 21 artists selected over 57 submission, exploring connection, identity, and transformation. Featuring works by, Sally Ward, John-Paul Kaiser, Lisa Lloyd, Vlad Cohen, and more,  alongside emerging talents reshaping Brighton’s creative landscape.
