About
Wednesday's Child
After completing what can only be described as a critically acclaimed international world tour (Brighton, London, various artist takeovers, emotionally unstable market stalls and several culturally significant café appearances), Wednesday Child returns to The Vault for just 2 weeks. And honestly? What a glorious menace.
What's happening
You’ve probably already encountered Rosie’s work somewhere across Brighton without realising it:
Artist Open Houses,
Circus Art Fair,
CCA Galleries Emerging Artist Award,
Acid Baby Studios,
Arrival Gallery,
Emmaus London Road,
Stanley Road Stores,
Beau Events…
her wildly vibrant, deeply queer visual universe has quietly been spreading itself across the city for a while now.
And while the work may suggest someone operating entirely on glitter, emotional turbulence and suspiciously little sleep…
we can confirm the artist herself is somehow even less predictable in person.
Which perhaps explains why the work feels so ALIVE.

Behind the bold colours, humour and playful chaos sits an artist with razor-sharp emotional intelligence, creating pieces that are funny, tender, awkward, loud and strangely relatable all at once.

.and potentially a few fresh surprises if the creative gods cooperate.
The very good news?
Rosie’s original works still remain accessible for many first-time collectors and curious visitors.
And her giclée prints are genuinely brilliant.
